Web-hosting service - a service which allows the user to host a web site or other information (text, images, video) on the Internet on the provider's server.
Virtual hosting - type of hosting where many web sites are located on the same Web server. This is the most economical type of hosting is suitable for small projects. Typically, each site is located in its own section of the Web server, but they both use the same software.
Dedicated server - type of hosting where the client is provided entirely separate physical machine. Typically used to run applications that can not coexist on the same server with other projects or have increased demands on resources.
Colocation - telecommunication service consisting in the fact that the provider puts customer equipment in its territory (typically in a data center), and connects it to the channels of communication with high bandwidth. Sometimes this equipment does not belong to the client, and rented them from the same provider, in this case the service is called "rent a dedicated server."
